Stockbreeding sector
The infectious diseases of animals lead to two kinds of problems: sanitary and economic. The mortality and morbidity that they cause generate serious drops in production (loss of profitability). On the other hand, the growing number of transmissible diseases from animals to humans (zoonoses) whether by direct contact or through their products (milk, meat, eggs, etc.), increase the health risk.
Also, the high degree of industrialisation of the stockbreeding sector entails a scarce or inexistent rotation of the buildings, which have a high animal density that favours, over time, the increase of the environmental microbial load and the appearance of the much feared barn
